What this website currently collects
This website currently has no loan application form, document upload facility or non-essential visitor analytics. You are not asked to enter personal information when viewing public pages. Hosting and security services may still process limited technical information needed to operate and protect the website, such as IP address, browser type, access time and security logs.
When you contact Sophia
If you contact Sophia by phone, email or WeChat, you may choose to provide your name, contact details, property goals, income, expenses, assets, liabilities or other information relevant to lending. This information is used to respond, understand your needs, prepare advice, assist with applications and meet legal and compliance obligations.
Personal information connected with financial advice and loan applications is handled under VEGA's formal privacy policy and the Privacy Act 2020. Where authorised or legally permitted, information may be shared with lenders, credit reporters, lawyers, valuers, insurers, compliance providers or others needed to deliver the service.
Take care with sensitive documents
Do not send identity documents, bank statements, tax numbers, online-banking passwords or other highly sensitive material through public or unencrypted channels unless Sophia has directed you to an approved secure method. Sophia and VEGA will not ask for your online-banking password.
Access, correction and contact
You may ask to access or correct personal information held about you, subject to applicable law. Contact Sophia at sophia.xia@vegalend.co.nz or 021 888 226. Privacy requests concerning VEGA services may also be made using the details in VEGA's formal privacy policy.
If booking forms, a client portal, analytics or other data-processing features are added later, this notice will be updated accordingly.
